Lucas Miedler from Austria for his victory against Italys Gianluigi Qunizi 6-2, 6-4 to secure the title in the second week of Norwegian Collector Bank Norwegian Open.
This was Miedler´s first title in 2016 and his second as a pro tennis player. Miedler and Quinzi have the same coach and train together. Last week Miedler lost the final against Lorenzo Fregeiro.
– I m just happy to win, because I have had some injuries lately. This was a very tactical game. You had to think twice every time before you hitting the ball. We know each other very well, says Miedler.
